005 [Open- backdated to a day after the tower exploration]
The first sensation she registered was a growing burning sensation in the middle of her back. It was uncomfortable and quite quickly growing unbearable. Eyes opened and she scrambled to a sitting position. She did not know why she was in the room, or even who she was, but she knew that something was wrong with her wings. Instincts made her unfurl them to ease the hurt, like an eagle spreading his in a stretch before a flight.
What came unexpected was the sudden explosion of pain from her left shoulder. There was the sound of bone grinding on bone and a scream tore it's way from her throat. Between one second and the next she very briefly lost consciousness and ended up on her side. Her wings were bound in some contraption and something was wrong with at least one of them. She didn't know why. Tears of pain clouded her vision and she clawed at the buckles of the bloodstained harness that bound her body and wings. The bone in her shoulder resettled at an unnatural angle and caused more pain-filled whimpers.
Frantically she yanked at the straps around her body, crying out occasionally. She fought like a wild animal that was caught in a trap- against a contraption she didn't understand but with the driving force to be gone and away from the thing that was causing her so much pain.
[[ ooc: She died ...if so inclined you'll hear a scream throughout the barracks and possibly right outside of her window. ]]

...He didn't believe that for two seconds, but he'd try, damnit.

She is moved. She knows, with the first bits of certainty that she's felt since she's 'awaken'- that there was more locked behind the wall that held her memories. That if they were as vivid as the memory of lycanthropes she would be in trouble doing this alone.
She stands, biting her lip against whatever was wrong with her wing, and hugs Sollux with a smile. She couldn't think of more to say than that.

"It, means a lot. I am a bit... enixem ...scared of all of this. I don't know what happened, or will happen, or can happen." She sighs. "I can't think, i've ... blood on me. Are you sure?"
no subject
"You'll probably be able to think more better when the shock has passed. The blood looks old, its probably from..." Er, no, bringing up her death is probably not a good idea. "...well you don't have to worry about it."
He stifles a yawn...bed is comfy and he's still exhausted from everything he did the other day. "What do you mean am I sure?"
no subject
There, that is a better question.
It would explain the blood.
She rubs her forehead, "My head also hurts from all of this. So much happening in such a erox'z zace... short time? Is this normal?"
no subject
"No, you aren't.
"Uh...I can't say about the headache, sorry."
no subject
She puts her head in her hands. She didn't want more memories but one came anyways, just one- not a massive press like the lycanthrope memory, where it seemed to spawn everything connected at the same time. This was just a simple time.
"I think... I can ... remember music."
no subject
God, this had been a terrible idea, he should just go and maybe find someone better to help her. But getting up seems like a lot more work than he thought it'd be when he sat down.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I can really help you actually remember."
no subject
Though she can't remember a song or a note even, her fingers move on her temple, playing a scale to an instrument she did not know.
She looks to him and shakes her head.
"You are doing more for me than I could do by myself. I don't think this would be a good idea on my own."
Especially the blood on her part.

He rubs his head a bit. "I can't do anything about my headaches, so I don't know how you'd handle yours. Sorry."
no subject
It is a revelation of a kind.
"What are we?"

There's a silence from her while she processes that bit. Then she tries to smile, "Then I guess, we'll find out together."
no subject
But then she never seemed like the type to get upset with people, even when he tried to tell her to leave him alone after the issue with the spider bites.
Sollux sighs and rubs his head. He's still exhausted, and being thrown so off guard here has made him pretty confused and somewhat sluggish mentally.

She glances around the room, was this her room or his? Perhaps someone else's even?

From where she was sitting she could see various bolts of colorful cloth. Very colorful cloth and things on top of it. She didn't know the name for what they were yet. There was paper ontop of the dresser, things written on it, odd symbols. There was thread there too, more outlandish colors.
"Who's... place? Is this?"

"I woke up with that," She points to the discarded harness. "Binding me and causing pain. Nothing before."
Which was still frustrating. She looks around again, and a little smirk starts in the corner of her mouth, " I seem to like color."
Understatement.

...Was she new here? A different version of Isabella then had been here before? Some version from another timeline or...or was that just how death worked here? Nick and Nepeta had come back, and Talia had mentioned people returning on the Elegante.
"...I don't know if that means anything, though."
He looks over her room, since he hadn't really done so before. "Yeah, I guess you do. I don't know what you did before you got here, but I know you can sew...maybe you did that."
no subject
You mean, she's already done this dance?
"How often does this happen?!"
She looks at the cloth again, so sewing? She sewed? You needed cloth and thread. The thread was what was on the dresser. Scissors! The scissors were on the cloth and those cut and you can make-
"Dresses." She flinches as another memory assaults her, "I had to make my own dresses. I was not... liked."
She remembers being kicked and shoved out of a place that sold fabric. The man was shouting things at her. She remember how she felt, angry and scared.
no subject
He furrows his brow a bit at that. "Why weren't you liked? You're really nice."
It was WEIRD, because most trolls weren't nice at all, but people here seemed to come from places where it was more common and welcomed.
